Çocuk Hastada İnflamatuar Odontojenik Kist: Olgu Sunumu

Odontogenic cysts arise from epithelium residuals forming the tooth. When they are infected, can reach large sizes and cause bone resorption in surrounding bone.A 9-year-old girl who was brought to Department of Pediatric Dentistry referred Oral Maxillofacial Surgery due a suspicion cystic lesion premolar region patient's right lower jaw as result clinical radiographic examinations. Fine needle aspiration biopsy performed after cone beam computed tomography taken, specimen sent pathology. Histopathologically, cyst with suppurative inflammation diagnosed. Then, treatment planned marsupialization method chosen considering size lesion, age patient, presence impacted tooth concerned.As 14-month follow-up, radiography patient showed that although not enucleated, radiolucency related disappeared number 45 erupted oral cavity. In this way, it considered successful method.
